Today I'm sat staring at Solidworks thinking 2 things:
1. Why didn't I buy the Solidworks bible
2. Why didn't I start learning CAD when I was 16.
As I have found working in CAD is HAAAARRRRRRDDDDD, and not only the obviously things like extruding shapes, fillets, chamfers, splines etc. I find it hard sometimes just to keep my mind thinking on the task at hand. Yup the thing I'm struggling with the most is lapsing into a daydream.
You know how it starts:
'I wonder if my computer has feelings?' or 'I wonder if there is a TRON-esque world housed within this plastic confined' maybe even 'It would be quite easy to urinate into these bottles of apple juice'
Either way it starts with something and ends with me staring doe eyed at a computer screen like a gimp, before being jogged back into reality by the realization I have been sat here for 45 minutes and only drawn a cylinder.
Daydreams, the personally annoying things in existence
